The story
The development of Cyke began in 2019 to handle a blocking issue: there was no software to handle all the need of a small cyclologistics company at a decent price.
It is quite rare to see a small company - especially a workers co-operative of 40 employees, self-funded through sheer hard work - develop its own software. You may read the whole story of Cyke in this blog post (in French).
Fast-forward to today, Cyke is a mature software used by many cyclologistics companies in Europe. The idea that stands behind its development from the beginning is still the same: we want to offer a good software platform, adapted to other companies, at a decent price to share the development costs. We are not a tech startup with thousands of euros to build a software platform and get rich. We only want to share our knowledge and build a high quality and useful software with and for our small and medium cyclologistics businesses. Together we can deliver a quality of service to compete with bigger platforms and companies.
